Dear [Department] faculty,
We would like to rescind our previous call to action, which asked you not to fill out the form sent out yesterday by the Office of the Registrar. We now believe the purpose of this form is to determine which courses will be affected by the strike, which will allow the registrar to direct its attention to vulnerable students enrolled those courses. This may include graduating seniors, financial aid recipients, students on athletic teams, and students on academic probation. We are dedicated to supporting our undergraduates, whose solidarity has been indispensable to our movement.
Additionally, the questionnaire asks instructors if there will be a delay in grading and, if so, till when. We ask you to please leave the submission date blank because it cannot be answered until the administration begins negotiating with us. Any offer we receive will be voted on by the graduate student body, and until then, we plan to strike.
