Mission

We are TAs, GSIs, Tutors, Readers, Student Researchers, and Fellows at UCSC. We are represented by our unions, UAW 2865 and UAW SRU. We are currently bargaining for the contracts that will set our wages, working conditions, benefits and protections for the next four years. We are arguing for a 54k base wage for all academic workers. The goal is to raise the living conditions of academic workers across the state – but the UC won’t give in without a fight.
